Haiku, Tyrant & Hope

We Should Learn from Ann Frank

Faith gives us the hope,

Even living among tyrants,

We have strength to cope.

Remember Hitler,

Such a cruel man, killing Jews,

Please be kind, be gentler.

A hero was Ann Frank,

‘Cause she risked her life to help,

Held in small room, dank.

  1. Incredible reminder. What Anne Frank went through was an unbelievable tragedy that definitely showcased a special kind of evil. Yet she still had hope for humanity. What a lesson of character and strength!

  2. Thank you very much! I admire her, and others like her so very much! My grandpa served in WWII.He was in the Army in Germany, as a German American. He was ashamed to be German for a long time!
