3 Things I Wish I Could Do

3 Things I Love

How does this photo inspire you? Here are my feelings about it.

I wish, like the wind, I could dance,

Lightly on my feet & full of romance.

While taking in the smell of wild flowers & fresh air,

During afternoon Spring showers without a care.

Putting away sadness and regaining my peace,

For a moment, the tears of grief  would cease.

Happy Flag Day

Thank you, Miss Betsy Ross, for making the flag, red, white and blue,
It is the most beautiful flag; this is so very true,
With its thirteen stripes and its thirteen stars,
In the 242 years since, as a country, we have many battle scars,
We have added 37 new states and stars to your flag as we grew,
I hope that you would have liked my tribute to honor you.Betsy Ross

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

The Prime of Autumn

The Prime of Autumn

Early October was so beautiful and warm,

Sun shining so beautifully, temps higher than the norm.

Shining so brilliantly on the many multi-colored leaves,

Pumpkin, gold, yellow, burgundy and red the grass receiveswp-image-1057992040jpg.jpeg.

Making a leafy carpet as the October winds begin to blow,

As the rain clouds gather, the sun loses its warm glow.

And November takes its turn, most of the trees will become bare,

Alone until Spring when the weather again turns sunny and fair.
